This afternoon the girls and I were having some hot chocolate. They decided they wanted to pretend they were drinking coffee. Out of the blue BigZabba raises her cup and says, “That is some powerful coffee!…that is what Pappy would say” I am so glad she remembers.

BigZabba: How do we get cousins? Are they our friends? Mommy: Cousins are the kids of your Aunts and Uncles. So Uncle D’s kid’s are your cousins and Auntie A’s kids are your cousins. BigZabba: Auntie A keeps making my cousin cup full.
Me – LittleZabba, what should we have for dinner? LittleZabba – (thoughtful pause) Donuts. (smiles). No, we don’t have donuts. (sudden look of possibility crosses her face) Do we have donuts? (no we did not go get donuts, i just happened to have this picture from a previous donut outing.)
While sitting at the kitchen table drawing a picture with markers BigZabba says, I wish there was a fill button on this. Then I wouldn’t have to color it all in.
While looking at pictures this morning, LittleZabba points to a photo of BZ, who has red eyes in the photo. Mommy, you forgot to fix those eyes. How does she even know that it is possible to fix red eyes?
