BigZabba

Guten Tag

For the last several weeks BigZabba has been working on a cultural heritage project. She completed a family tree, did research on her country of origin, wrote a recipe for her country, completed an art project, a fashion show and participated in a cultural food fair. It has been quite an interesting project. BZ chose… Read More Guten Tag

Hollywood

Last weekend DZ volunteered to take the girls and the dog for an afternoon hike. They had a great afternoon together and I had a relaxing afternoon taking a much needed nap. Thanks for the day off!

Wish List

Around the middle of November BigZabba starts making her wish list. This is her wish list from Christmas 2009. I love the varied items on her list, everything from a dog bakery, make up, barbies, and a laptop. What 7 year old doesn’t need their own laptop? It never hurts to ask. Sweet Dreams

I love watching the girls sleep. Their perfect little faces, the little pucker in the lips, the way their fingers are so relaxed, their calm breathing. Such innocence. I love them so much it makes my heart hurt.

Wacky Day

BigZabba was so excited to participate in the day. She wore different colored socks and two different shoes, her shirt backwards, leggings on… Read More Wacky Day

Snail Park

Soon there were more toys out for the snails. After a few minutes they decided to make a snail… Read More Snail Park

the teacher

In the morning the girls like to have some play time before beginning the day. The other day BigZabba decided that she wanted to teach LittleZabba her numbers. Her tactic was to sort and count her chalk and have LittleZabba write the number. Pretty clever. They both had fun and LittleZabba did a little learning.

the tractor

Only city girls would enjoy riding the lawn mower, or as they call it, the tractor. The girls thought it was so great to ride around the yard with Daddy. I think that Daddy enjoyed it too.
