LittleZabba now has what BigZabba had last week.  It is pretty yucky.  It starts out with a fever, then moves to a croupy cough, then proceeds to all out nasty.  Just 2 hours after the above photo was taken LittleZabba was awake and having a terrible time breathing.  We sat with her in the bathroom with the hot shower on, letting her breath in the warm, moist air.  It helped some.  About one hour later she was awake again, this time having an even harder time catching her breath.  At that point we decided that she needed some medical intervention.  DaddyZabba took her to the ER and the doctors there gave her some medication and monitored her.  The nurses were wonderful to her.  They gave Pony a pulse-ox monitor too.  After a few hours they came home and she has been much better since.  Hopefully she will make it through the night tonight without any respiratory troubles.  DaddyZabba said that if there is an ER visit tonight, it is my turn.
