For the last several weeks BigZabba has been saying that she wants to take piano lessons. I was skeptical of her interest because in the past she wanted to take ballet lessons, then swimming lessons..they all ended badly. We would arrive at the class only to have her decide that she wanted to stay with me, wouldn’t listen to the teacher, many tears were shed..it was bad all around. With that in mind I figured this was another episode of, “my friends are doing these things, so I think I want to too….on second thought I don’t.” After weeks of her persistent piano lesson chatter we sat down and had a serious talk about it. Even after hearing that she couldn’t play Webkinz until her piano practice was done she still seems truly interested in taking lessons. So, we signed her up. Her first lesson is on Wednesday. We’ll see how it goes.
