There have been many things today that haven’t gone as planned.

• After a 45 minute drive and $6 to park, the doctor wouldn’t see my because my insurance card didn’t have the right info on it
• Construction slowed my very short 3 mile drive to see a friend’s new baby
• BigZabba’s slight fever caused our dinner guests to leave before dinner and caused tomorrow’s breakfast plans to get rescheduled
• The biggest bummer was finding out that the Nike Women’s Marathon is sold out – the Tiffany necklace will have to wait

Yet another reminder that I am not in control.
